Geared towards young people, but enjoyable to all ages. The Lost Dome of Atron, first book of three, takes you to a planet in the far future where two cultures once united are now at war. The Unidans follow their King, The One of the Universe. On the other hand, the cruel King Krall, bent on destroying the Unidans, leads the Toldens.
Candra of Unidan is being trained by her father to take his place one day as the leader of their people. Candra’s Gran, one of the Unidan elders, has half a parchment that contains part of the information needed to find the mysterious lost Dome. This is important because it might possibly save the planet from a serious drought. No one knows what happened to the other half of the parchment.
The One orchestrates events that bring together Candra, her brother, Nathan, and two other young people. The four of them, led by The One might be able to find the Dome and save their people and their planet. Along the way their lives change as they learn to depend on The One and each other.
Through some of it’s themes, this book encourages young readers to remain pure before they marry. They will also see the contrast between following God (The One) and following the world. At the same time they will enjoy some adventures with the young people of Atron. The author has purposefully written so parents do not have to worry about the content of the story.
Other books in the series include: The Redemption of Atron and The Genesis of Atron
